Freemasons Hall

Freemasons Hall is the central meeting place of all the lodges in Darlington and 14 Craft lodges meet within the building, which is also available to hire for private functions. The Building can be reached from the North and South using the following directions, an address is also provided below.

From the North

Leave the A1 and turn left on to the A167. Keep going for 4 miles then turn right at the �ringroad� roundabout on to the dual-carriageway signed Barnard Castle A68 where the Lodge is highly visible on the other side of the road. Go right round the roundabout on to the opposite carriageway and leave on the slip road almost immediately and you will se the car park. The car park is covered by CCTV.


From the South

Leave the A1M at the M66 junction. After a roundabout, for a short stretch the road becomes the A66, follow it to the next roundabout (a large garage on the right and bear (2nd) left for the town centre. Follow it and on to the ring-road (A1M A167). Stay on the ring-road (dual carriageway) past the fire station on the opposite side, straight over the roundabout and then left at the next roundabout, stay in the left lane then straight over the roundabout. Follow the directions from the above section.
